How Stem Mastering Works
Instead of sending one stereo file, you send your track in 6 logical groups. That gives me more control over balance, low-end, and impact before the final master.
Main kick stem for punch, weight, and cleaner transient control.
Bassline and sub grouped to connect better with the kick and control the low-end.
Claps, snares, hats, and percussion shaped as one rhythmic group.
Leads, chords, synth hooks, and the main musical layers balanced together.
Lead and backing vocals grouped for cleaner presence and consistency.
Background parts, risers, fills, FX, and secondary instruments kept clear without crowding the mix.
You send 6 logical groups, not every individual track. Grouping can be adapted when the arrangement needs it.

Is it analog or in-the-box mastering?
I can do both. I have a second studio equipped with a full SPL analog mastering chain, including mastering console, EQ, compressor, and more, for when analog processing is the right choice.
With recent technological evolution, modern plugins can sound extremely close to their analog counterparts. What really matters is the technique, experience, and judgment behind the mastering process.
Whether analog, in the box, or hybrid, I choose the best approach for your specific track.
What should I send for Stem Mastering?
Send 6 logical groups: Kick, Bass, Drums & Percussion, Main Instruments, Vocals, and Extra Instruments & FX.
This keeps the session efficient while giving me much more control than a single stereo file, especially for low-end, dynamics, and tonal balance.
If the arrangement needs it, I can adapt the grouping to fit the track.
How long does mastering take & what formats do you deliver?
Turnaround: Standard mastering takes 3-5 business days. 24-hour rush mastering is available for Stereo Master if you have a tight deadline.
Formats: You receive high-quality 24-bit/48kHz WAV files, FLAC for lossless archiving, and MP3 (320kbps) for easy sharing. Mastered tracks are delivered around -9 LUFS to preserve dynamics while staying powerful enough for clubs and festivals.
For CD production, I can also provide 16-bit/44.1kHz Red Book standard masters with embedded ISRC codes on request.
