Like we say in France, “if you want a good croissant, don’t try to do it by yourself, go find a good baker instead.” 🥐
Because the mastering process is critical to your music, only an experienced engineer is qualified for this task.
He got the necessary expertise, trained ears, a decent acoustic studio
and equipment to execute it effectively.
And it's okay because the vast majority of successful artists don't finalize their music themselves.
They work with pros skilled in their genre.
It's also not an artificial intelligence mastering that will help you, because the mastering is more than just mathematics, it's also
about gut instincts and feelings.

I'm currently based in gorgeous southern France, and I've been playing, producing, mixing, and mastering music for almost the past 3 decades.

What is Stereo Mixing?
Stereo Mixing is an essential step in music production where different sound elements, such as instruments and vocals, are combined in a balanced way to create a final version of a track.
What is Mastering?
Mastering is the last crucial step that comes after mixing.
Where mixing is all about making each element coexist, mastering is all about optimizing the overall sound color of the mix.
This is a specialized process where an experienced sound engineer applies various adjustments to ensure sound consistency and faithful reproduction across all audio systems.
Stereo mastering includes EQ, compression, volume maximization, and other techniques to achieve a professional, balanced, distribution-ready sound.
This helps ensure that music sounds optimal across a variety of platforms, whether it's radio, online streaming services, or physical media.
How do I prepare my track for mixing or mastering?
After you order your mastering, you'll get detailed instructions to be sure that your track is well prepared for mastering.
Is it analog or digital mixing/mastering?
It depends on the needs and the desired color. Usually, it's a bit of both.
What if I need alternates versions of the same song mastered (radio edit, extended mix etc.)?
You are entitled to a second version (same sound settings) for free if you provide us with the mix at the same time as the first one.
Otherwise, each alternative version will be charged with a 75% discount on the price of a normal mastering.
What if I don't like the results?
90% of my clients are satisfied with the first mastering especially if they provide me with a reference track in the same genre. But if you belong to the remaining 10%, you'll get 2 revisions for free.
Why can't I master the music myself?
You can, it just won’t sound as good. I've acquired tens of thousands of euros in equipment, a studio with a perfect acoustic treatment, and won several awards working with big-name artists and major record labels.
I've been in the industry for 3 decades. Like anything in life, it’s usually best to trust the experts.
What if I need to make changes to the recording or mix after hearing the master? Do I have to pay for a whole new project?
I offer 2 free revisions on all the mastering that I do, but you might notice something in your recording or mix that you want to change after I have already mastered your project.
In cases like this, I'll remaster your music for 50% off after you make the changes on your end.
Is it possible to order a mix without mastering?
Today, I provide all of my mastered mixes, but I also provide an unmastered version in case you already have another mastering engineer and want me to only handle the mixing.
This gives you the flexibility to choose the best option based on your specific needs.
What styles of music do you mix/master?
I have a preference for electronic music as well as Lo-fi, ChillHop and Urban...
But if you give me a reference to a commercial title, which sounds the way you like it.

What is Stem Mastering?
It's kind of a mini-mix that gives us more options than stereo mastering.
It's the preferred choice for artists who mix themselves, often for budget reasons, but still want a touch of professional finalization.
In a professional studio, the room is treated acoustically, which allows us to hear all frequencies in a balanced way.
This allows you to understand the needs of the track and the mistakes to be corrected, which very often affect the bass and the kick, but not only...
How it works?
You provide me with tracks that are logically grouped into 6 stems which are generally:
1. Kick Drum
2. Bass
3. Drums, Percussion
4. Instruments
5. Vocals
6. 2nd set of instruments like GUITARS or SYNTHS separate from KEYBOARDS or background noises, effects, sounds.
Depending on your music style, we can modify this blueprint slightly.
The goal here is to put together only what should be put together.
